Tow vehicle batt vs Trailer Lithium batt while driving

I know this topic has been discussed before but looking for an answer if I should be pulling the 12 V connection in my airstream or is everything going to be just fine as is? thoughts.

I also saw there was some in line converter that would protect each thanks

Lithium while driving

Great question. We just this morning contemplating upgrading our 2) 4 yr old 12v Interstates for two of the the highly regarded Battleborn Lithiumís being a drop in replacement but wondering if truly needing to replace everything else right now.

Hear they have built in battery management electronics to work smarter with brute force single stage charging/converters but will upgrade ours to the PD ...55 anyway for lithium jumper and higher current charging.

The BMS connected to the Li-ion battery should take care of any charging issues. There is a setting in the BMS that switches off the charge current when the programmable final battery voltage is reached.

I know that my setup works that way.

The concern is that the TT can pull current from of the lithium batteries because their voltage is higher than the TT's voltage.

See this thread for a more detailed discussion.
