strapping battery

Hello,

I need to figure out a way to strap down the battery in a '62 Bambi. The battery compartment is quite small. It had a sliding mechanism, but it was very rickety, could not hold the new battery, so I took that out. All I have now is just the empty box.

Any ideas on how to strap a battery in there?

Thanks,
Kamo

I do not know what the battery area looks like on your unit. Pictures would help.
My 75 has a battery area that is accessed by a door on the side of the trailer. It has a strap across the opening (inside the door) to prevent it from knocking the door open in transit.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll go get the strap at a marine store.
