Thats the way I have been doing it since we have had the trailer. I take them down the basement and put them on a board(optional) and put the trickel charge on them. These Batteries are now (not sure) 3 or 4 years old and no problems. I check them once a month for water when they are in the trailer. I am still using the old charging system that came in the trailer in 1977. Although I would like to rebuild that charger because of a hum that Im getting in the radio. I am sure the filter capaiators are about shot. I have not been able to come up with a schematic for it yet,no one seems to have one.
