require new batteries

Preowned--25' safari---will be parked in a florida rv park all winter--do NO dry camping--use batteries for jacking trailer to set on ball-----have 2 deep cycle batteries that require replacement --is it necessary to replace with expensive deep cycle batteries--any battery suggestions???

NO, but... Battery life may/will become an issue if you fail to keep a full charge on a non-deep cycle battery. A standard auto battey is not meant to be run down and recharged over and over. Also a good dependable auto battery is not cheap either.

If that is all you use the battery for any battery will do, in fact you can probably scale back to one battery.

But, unless you have a battery disconnect switch there are certain parasitic draws that run off the battery 24/7/365. For example the radio and I think the circuit board in the refridgerator and furnace.

It will decease battery life to fully discharge.
