Power On Fuse connected to Univolt

There is a fuse number 1 on my fuse panel that was connected to the Univolt by a separate wire. I believe this powers the "power on" indicatior LED in the control panel. It is supposed to be on only when the trailer is plugged in. There must have been a diode in there somewhere so it only lit up when power was coming from the Univolt as opposed to the batteries. If I just jumper 12V to it, then it will stay on all the time even if the trailer is not hooked to shore power. Maybe the simplest thing to do would be to put a 12V wall wort in the same plug as the univolt and connect that to the fuse #1. Any ideas?
