Power drain from an idle converter?

Plain old converters are notorious for draining power even when there's no load in the DC circuit. Does my univolt (or any of the new chargers) have the same problem? I don't have a need for anything running on the 12V circuit 95% of the time except for a couple of small lights to keep the mildew at bay, but I've never explicitely turned off the univolt. What would the wattage draw of a 60A 12V converter be even with nothing on? (hopefully not 720 Watts!)

The text book would tell you if there is no DC draw than there is no A/C draw and no power is consumed. The reality is add 10 watts or so to the watage of the lamps.
