Plugged into 110, lights still drain the batteries.

We just had our 25 ft. Safari serviced. All checked out fine, including charger, 110v and 12v systems. Our trailer has been plugged into 110v for the past day, as we're getting ready for a weekend trip. My wife was loading up the groceries this evening and the lights were left on for 2 plus hours. When I went out to check on things, I noticed the lights looking a bit dim. The gauge on the wall reads 65%. Hmm... shouldn't this read 100% if it's connected to 110v? As stated, we just picked her up and all checked out ok. What am I missing here?

my disconnect looks like a regular light switch. it is on the curbside wall by the window behind the curtain on my excella 1000

Your battery disconnect switch is located to the right of your door as you enter. Make sure it is on, red light lit, when you are plugged in to outside power. That way your converter will run and keep your batteries charged.

Had an identical problem. Check to make sure the breaker for the charger isn't tripped.

For whatever reason the power converter is not running. Fuse, switch, defective, or whatever.

What Bill said, the converter is not powering the 12 V system. Probably the breaker. If not things get a little tougher.

I would get a cheap volt meter and HD if you don't have one. You can check the batteries with the AS plugged in and you should get something over 13V DC. If you are reading just the battery voltage <12.8, then you are just getting battery voltage and your converter is not working.
