Has anyone installed the pendant ($10 add on) instead of changing out the DC board from the original unit?

We had a communication snafu - in a big way my part but we just did not properly verify and mine is 50amp

Randy called me and very quickly is helping me get it all square - looks like I have a few choices to consider now as a replacement (which he agreed so graciously to replace as a 1:1 swap)

Thanks for help randy - I'm retarded

No Worries. A few Airstreams are sold with 50 amp service and I should have had you check to make sure. Partly my fault but I truly thought you said you had the 7355 that most Airstreams come with. We'll get it taken care of.

Totally understand....what I was meaning to say was "yeah, that model sounds familiar based on what people have told me on the forums I likely have"...point of the phone call however was to make sure from the horses mouth....but I totally understand the mis-cue....

I have ordered a powermax boondocker 60 from Randy and am sending back the PD4655 that he agreed to graciously accept and refund...thank you sir!

I will be requiring to do a couple additional things for this install for which randy will walk me through it...thanks Randy for the correction and good service. Wifey will send the PD4655 back tomorrow. Ill take pics of the new install in detail and make a post specific to this swap as I suspect having searched the forums here that it has not been discussed much at all in any detail like the 7300 to the PD4655.

Ha! You'll have to wait until late Friday then... I will also be installing the "EMS-HW50C 50 Amp Hardwired EMS with Remote Display" along with the "TriMetric Battery Monitor" as well...

If anyone sees a big plume of smoke coming from the Catskills...well, open a good red wine and raise your glasses to us.

Moo - I'll be interested in your tri metrix install - looks nice - me wants later

What I really want after a weekend boondocking is a monitor system for my tanks that gives me some fairly accurate sense of the actual levels in my tanks

FWIW: I upgraded to the Powermax boondocker the same week I picked up our new AS. There may be better ideas for mounting?? I didn't try to salvage the OEM converter case. I picked up some aluminum channels at HD to hold the converter off the floor for air circulation. Then I used some wood blocks to attach/hold the power center cover. With the cover on you can't see the wood blocks.

I have a PM4B Boondocker coming but it looks like it may be delayed cause y'all bought them all. LOL I look forward to seeing the installs. Mine is just a replacement for a Parallax 7455. Pray for no smoke and patience.
