only the radio works?? what should I do

I have a 76 caravanner that I just connected my extension cord to. I can play the 8 track and radio but I interior lights don't come on. The instrument panel lights up. Is there something I need to do so I can turn on the interior lights. For now I just like to hang out and listen to radio but it might be nice to be able to read a good book. Thanks for any suggestions. I don't have an owners manual so I don't know what I should be looking for.

There is probably a master switch as well as switches on each light. Look for the master switch. The only other possibility is that since your 8 track is working, you may have either entered a time warp or have been sucked into a black hole!

Sucked into a black hole

That was a riot!!!! I found the indivula light switches; so If I could locate the master switch it mightsolve the problem.. I still like the black hole theory. I enjoy listening to my Johnny Cash tapes and of course a rew Bob Dilans.

Each light bulb may have no contact, the bulbs themselves may be blown (could be an issue from over voltage) the switches may be bad. You could also have blown fuses on the Univolt, or it may be as simple as a seriesd of bad grounds for the light fixtures.

Missing fuse ??

I remember the fellow that I bought it from told me that there was a large fuse missing. Is what your referring to as the univolt located in the rear bath area. I have that area packed with boxes. So I have to pull everything out to check back there. I unplugged the extension cord and the radio still playing. The battery meter is reading fair so that was the battery must be powering the radio.
