I went to Radio Shack to get a new battery for my voltmeter, and they did not have those batteries in stock! I don't have a voltmeter that reads without a battery.
I'm traveling, so I may stop by Les Schwab to have them recheck the batteries.
Thank you for the great advice. Any more ideas welcome.
Obvious questions... are both batteries full?, do they have electrolyte?
13 year old Parallax 7400 series converter?
"Both service techs"......Have they checked the batteries out of the trailer, after being charged for at least 4hrs?
If not they have not been "checked"
The voltmeter won't tell you their condition, they may read 12v
unloaded and 0v when connected.
When your V meter is working, disconnect batts, plug in converter and ck voltage at the cables.
