New converter for a '15 Classic with AGMs?

I've ordered a '15 Classic and was wondering if someone will recommend if I should swap out the converter?

I'll be installing (4) AGM Lifeline batteries and was thinking of installing a Progressive Dynamics 4655 converter/charger.

Do you think it's a good idea or is the standard converter/charger good enough?

Thanks in advance,
Ron

I'm not positive what AS is putting in for 15. I had heard they have gone to a 3 stage converter. I guess you need to know what it is being built with before I could say if it is good for AGMs.

I would suggest looking at the Magnum MS series if you are installing big batteries.

We installed four Lifeline 6CT 6Vdc 300 amp hour batteries (about 92 pounds each) in a custom stainless steel box behind the propane tanks along with eight 100 watt AM Solar panels and use a Magnum MS2812 to generate 2800 watts of pure sine wave power as well as charging the batteries based upon the battery temperature, air temp etc.

Wire size is important when looking at the 400 amp fuse going to the Magnum from the batteries.

PM me for more information and access to photos.
