New Batteries

This winter I disposed of my old batteries and the cross over wires that went with them. What batteries would you recommend, and wher can I purchase the cross over wires. I think one was black and one was red, and I can't recall but I presume that the black was connected to the negatives and the red to the possitives. There was one or 2 other wires that remain attached tothe trailer and I will have to figure out if they are connected to the possitive or negative connectors. Sorry for being so uninformed.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Here are a couple of shots of the battery box on our 2005 25FB. It's probably the same set up as yours. The red wires are to the + terminals

Hi All,
I prefer for AGM batteries. My Caravel is going on 6 years life; group 31. The Excella is over 3; they all still load test great!! Well worth the initial cost. You MUST use a modern solid state charger designed for this battery type. You can see a lot of posts on this subject by LEWSTER and others some years ago.

I also use AGM batteries. They are durable and they last longer compared to any batteries out there.
