Checked it today with AC on,

After two hours, the readout showed 13.6. and stayed there.

The PD (Progressive Dynamics) 4655 Converter is a direct replacement for the Converter in your Parallax 8355. It is a 4 stage converter, were the 8355 is only a single stage. for $220, this is a no brainer. do yourself and your batteries a big favor and upgrade your converter to the PD 4655.
