Oh NO, the wife knows......... I never realized it was THAT BAD..... You will never live this one down. You just went from an "oops, I can hide that" moment to a "So, you remember when you did______!!!!" reminder any time she goofs up in the future. This is bad, real bad.

It's great to joke about it later. Sounds like the world is all better now.

Don't feel bad.I think its happen to all of us who get our hands on drill motors. I watched my father drill thru a hay wagon rack floor and into a tire once.Needless to say he wasnt happy.
I think I try HOT GLUE or the plastic screw with a dab of RV silicone. The object is only to plug the hole so the acid don't spill.
