This past weekend while camping my LP detector started beeping and at the same time the interior lights started pulsing (dim to bright, dim to bright). I turned off the A/C and it stopped. The A/C did not seem to be laboring. I turned the A/C back on and everything was fine. It did this twice over a four day span. The first time it stopped on its own without turning off the air.
Any ideas? Voltage drop from my shore power, converter, bad LP detector, or what?
BTW - I was camping in my temporary Airstream (2004 Starcraft pop-up camper) in a RV park and I was connected to 30 amp shore power with no extension cords or adapters.
Agree, keep a voltage meter with you or even a simple plug-in that you can look at and read the actual voltage. Closer to the source the better. Read right off the output lugs on the converter if you can.
BTW - while it was doing this I checked my battery indicator and it read fully charged. Seems the battery alone should have operated the lights and LP alarm or should it?

The battery indicator is not accurate enough to rely on for this evaluation. The battery is fully charge or close to it but the converter is cycling on and off suppling additional voltage when it comes on. It is this increase voltage that you see as a flash.
