Tru charge battery charger install?

We have a 2007 27' FB Classic and I was wondering after reading up on the factory converter whether it would be worth installing a dedicated battery charger. I have a Statpower Trucharge 20 amp that I bought for a previous boat and never installed. The new charger will do up to three separate banks but I assume that the batteries in the Airstream are combined all the time (by wiring)? We may be on battery power quite a bit and would like to be able to bring them back quickly.
Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Phil
