Loosing power when water pump or furnace kicks on.
Disconnected from shore power to run off the batteries and all worked fine for awhile. Then flushed the toilet (water pump came on) and lost all the lights and power seemed to flicker on and off until the pump stopped. Then same thing happened when the furnace came on. Battery charge light went from green to red and batteries didn’t want to take a charge after that. Help!

We had a similar experience while plugged into shore power - circuit breaker for the converter had tripped and we were running the batteries down...
In your case it sounds like your batteries are discharged. If only running on batteries for a day or two then perhaps they're in need of replacement.

Time for new batteries.
The furnace fan drains batteries pretty quickly. If you are going to run the furnace you need to work out a way to charge the batteries some every day or close to that. We use a generator.
I am taking the statement " they won't take a charge" to mean that the converter is working but the batteries stay flat? You might check the converter output also.

Yep
Thats the way we learned also...The batts sat to long on the dealer lot plugged in with nobody monitoring the system. 😳
Batteries were replaced and we made sure we checked them often when we were "off the grid".
Genset on most every day for an hour or so.

Hi
Ummm .... errrr ....
Before we just run off and make the battery salesman rich, let's at least look into what's going on.
If the batteries are flooded cells, check the water level in them. If it's down a bit, that needs attention.
If "running a while" means days, then it's not a big surprise that the batteries went flat. A typical furnace running for two nights will do that. Once they are dead flat ( below some magic voltage ) the stock converter will not charge them. Often the quick solution is to plug in the 7 pin and let the TV get them up to voltage (takes minutes).
Assuming the batteries come back up with the 7 pin and then the converter / charger does it's thing, that rules out the converter charger.
None of this is to say the batteries *are* ok. If they are stock from when the trailer was new, they likely are over 6 years old. That's doing very well for RV batteries. Even if they are ok, they probably are not supplying the same capacity that they did when new.
Even if you get things back up and running, you might still decide to put in new batteries. Depending on your camping schedule, you may want to wait until spring to put in the new batteries. ( = many are packing up for the season about now). You *do* need working batteries to pull tailer. Weak ones are ok, dead ones ... not so much.
Lots of variables ....

Good suggestions built from experience above. I'd start with Uncle Bob and work up.
I'd also check the connections to each battery + and - terminal if you have not done so. Corrosion or a loose connection can allow low amperage loads to perform ok but higher draws to cause noticeable voltage drop. Pumps and fans are some of the higher 12v loads in the trailer.
One more thing... I see your trailer is a 2012. If the batteries are original then forget the advice I just gave... they are dead from old age.

Apologies for the hijack, everyone. We'll be gone in a minute.
laferic: no worries... if you are asking about fresh water tank removal and replacement, I finally posted that here: http://www.airforums.com/forums/f443...-a-188156.html
I did replace the tank sensor as part of that. Add to that post rather than this one if you have questions. It's on-topic there. Somewhere I have the instructions on how to cut the full sensor strip to fit various tank types and sizes.
