looking for a 12 Volt Fuse Panel

Hi all.

I have a new converter to install, and I want to also ditch the fuse panel that the Univolt has in it.

Out-of-doors-mart and Vintage Trailer Supply both seem to carry the same one, from Parellax.

Any other ones around that you would care to recommend?

TIA,
Aage

You might consider switching to circuit breakers rather than fuses. Do you need the panel more easily accessible, or does the stock location work for you? I'd definitely go for something w/ screw terminals rather than 1/4" push-on terminals...

Do you know of any reasonably-priced 12V distribution panels that use breakers? That, I have not seen at all.

Of course, if things are functioning properly, I won't be going near the fuse panel, and while it isn't currently in the best place, I'm not really interested in rewiring everything just to move it.

Blue Sea Systems has lots to choose from. Switch to circuit breakers. I am in the process of replacing my panel right now.

CB panels

I think that the best source is EBAY. A good selection, pictures to refer to and usually the best prices....usual EBAY cautions apply. I go to the boat section and I like Blue Seas items. After all...it is a Land Yacht.

The people over at wiringproducts.com have several fuse panels to choose from. Some will also accept circuit breakers instead of fuses, or a mixture of fuses and breakers. They also have some neutral bus products on another page that may be helpful.

My experience has been that much better quality 12v panels, etc are found at marine supply dealers.

Here is an ebay item number for an example. - 330395319055

Regards,
Ken
