Gene.

That is inhuman, to let "YOUR" batteries run down.

Now, if they let the trailer batteries run down, that's bad, but not as bad as your batteries.

After 30 days without my trailer I feel like "my" batteries have run down. This is the first time in over a year I have not gone camping for four consecutive weekends. You do get a little spoiled living in Southern California...my apologies to those of you living where it snows or where your trailer is in storage.

No excuse for this. I would document this for sure, ask them to sign it and be ready for a major brouhaha with premature battery failure.

Well...loaded with info from all of you, including an email reply from an Interstate Battery rep, my dealer replaced both batteries with new ones at no charge. I pick my trailer up tomorrow.

And here's the cool part:

The reason they have had the coach for the last month is that the running light bezels were replaced under warranty. Thanks to a heads up from Doug K. (Dkottum), 11 solid aluminum bezels which are found on the Classics are now part of a new service campaign where corrosion is starting to appear. I only asked for the heavy black gaskets which are on the 2013 Flying Clouds...it appears that the 2012's like mine with a late 2011 build date had only a small gasket which did not keep moisture out and a very small amount of corrosion was starting to appear.

According to my dealer, corrosion protection procedures, installation instructions and new bezels are now part of a new warranty campaign. The bezels are slightly larger and cover all areas of corrosion, and just look cool compared to the chromed plastic. My dealer was not even aware of this warranty issue, as I was the first replacement they did.

Thanks again to all for the knowledge shared on this forum.

Gene
