Lifeline AGM Battery Discharge???
I need some help please. I have a 2015 27FB FC with a 4 stage converter with AGM batteries. We are in TX = hot summer & not so cold winters. I recently move the AS into a storage facility with 120 V power. I used to pull the negative terminal clamps off at the old storage I had her at & never had a problem with battery drainage - even with 4 - 6 months of storage. Now with the 120 power - I have power to the unit that I thought would keep the converter but battery is drained??

Hi
What position was the use/store switch in?
How is the use/store switch wired on your specific trailer (some disconnect the converter in one direction or the other)?
Has the breaker to the converter popped?
Is the converter dead ( it ... errr .... happens .... )?
Is there *really* 120V power to the trailer? ( breakers / cords / adapters ... all can go wrong)
Lots of possible issues to dig into.
Bob

Use / store is on
Breaker is good
I can hear the converter running - but not sure it is charging
Definitely 120 going to trailer- checked with multimeter on a socket
Another weird thing is the SeaLevel II Tank Monitor reads 13.5 while the multimeter at the battery is 6 - 7 & barely enough power to run the power jack???

Hi
Ok, so you likely have a trailer that disconnects the battery from the converter when use/store is in the use position. Flip it to store and it probably will charge the battery. ( or move the cable on the relay so it no longer works that way).
Since it's just a wire to a lug, *most* trailers work one way. A few work the way yours does. Is it done on purpose or by accident? Who knows....

Hi
There is some debate about how the relay on the use/store should be wired.*IF* yours is set up to disconnect, that's not what most of the wiring diagrams show. It pretty much guarantees that mistakes like yours will happen ....

Well it turns out that the use/store switch was in store mode - it fooled me because the red light was on because 120 was plugged in. All is well - thank you Bob!!
I wish this was a switch like the water pump that you can tell by looking at it & tell which way it is.

Also -- sometimes that relay sticks, sometimes the light fails, so we always click the rocker switch a few times to make sure it ends up in the right place. If you have the overhead lights on when you do this, you have a full-scale-model showing the "current" state of affairs.

Hi
I forget that the switch has no indicator on it. Our trailer has a Firefly system on it. When the switch is in "store" ( or when the 12V system totally and completely crashes ...) the brightly illuminated master panel goes out.
