same o, same o ... just a different brand name pasted on the box as per usual.

Les Schwab does sell a lot of batteries and does stand behind what they sell. That. plus specifications and warranty should be your guide, IMHO.

Lead acid battery technology and manufacturing is rather mature and they are commodity items.

Satisfaction with batteries, assuming from a reputable retailer etc, is usually more dependent upon how you use and maintain them than anything else.

Les Schwab batteries

I resolved a "won't charge" issue by having the two 6V Trojans in my '95 Land Yacht checked (they were toast) and replaced. The Schwab guy told me the Schwab batteries were made by the same manufacturer. They were $85 apiece. I have had great experience with Les Schwab over many years. Time will tell for the batteries.

I use AC Delco batteries "Voyager". They far outlast anything I've ever used.

I purchased two Les Schwab deep cycle batteries last spring. I wanted freshly manufactured batteries and got two manufactured the same month as I purchased them. So far they are serving us well. Obviously I have not owned them long enough to know how they will serve us over the years, however, I use a battery maintainer when the trailer will be sitting more than a few weeks. I have purchased many other products from Les Schwab over the years and have always been satisfied with their service, price and warranty.

I agree with Bryanl. The PO did not maintain the previous set of deep cycle batteries correctly and they didn't last a year.
