Is new converter working properly?

I just installed a new inteli-power 9145 and am wondering whether the fan is working properly. I plugged the trailer into shore power this afternoon. The converter is fairly warm to the touch, although not hot. What I believe is the fan is almost inaudible--about as loud as my laptop fan. I'm used to more white noise with the original univolt, so I may be expecting too much noise from a unit that is 40 years newer. Electrical-wise, everything seems to be o.k. I'm just wondering if the heat and noise are what to expect.

The fan may not actually kick in at all unless the unit reaches a certain temperature. When it does kick in it is pretty quiet, like a computer. Probably working, but it should not get hot, hot.
