Inverter to shunt

Does any one have any photo's of there inverter to shunt wiring. I want to run in a new set of cables from my batteries to converter and to the shunt to measure power draw on battery.

Thanks George

I did this install 3 weeks ago.... sorry no photos trailer is in storage. Prior to installing the shunt I had a 4 gauge cable from the batt to the negative bus in the trailer, and a second 2 gauge cable from the batt to my inverter...

I simply attached 2 ring terminals to those negative cables from the battery and terminated both those negative leads to the shunt (batt side)

Then I made 2 new cables (2 ga and 4 ga) and Terminated the 2 ga into the inverter and the 4ga into the neg bus for the trailer.

Hope that helps. It was an easy install for me ...

I'm wanting to add the battery monitor as well. here's a picture of my wiring with solar controller. the battery negative terminates at the negative bus. the red and black wires you see in the foreground are the inventer wires that goes through the floor out to the battery.

Do i cut the inverter black wire, install rings and attach to the load side of the shunt? does a wire then still need to go to the battery or is this a sufficient ground?

its obvious i'm not an electrician.
