John,
I believe that for Safari, a converter/charger that puts out about 40 to 45 A is appropriate.
With this you can charge up to 2 batteries, and at the same time supply
12V to the house for fans, lights etc.
Intelli-power converters with their charge wizard module have served me well over the years.I recently purchased a Xantrex 60A unit for a client project. So far, the 60A Xantrex with fuse panel is the nicest made converter/charger that I have seen. But as the other posters suggest, ask Randy for the latest and greatest.
The more capacity you buy in a charger, converter, the cooler it will run and the more headroom you have for charging and simultaneously using
12V in the house.
If you want a mild upgrade, go with a 40A unit. For a full bore
12V redo, go with a 60A.
