Hybrid fuse panel

Here's a couple of pics of the new panel installation I put in when I replaced the humming box that was my univolt. I had an old Makita drill box and everthing fit just right. This way I get to keep the big fuses and the ammeter shunt, and at the same time modernize the rest of the panel. Moved the 50 amp neg battery fuse off the wall to the panel at the same time. The old univolt was still working but the hum was really annoying given that it was about a foot from the head of the bed. So now have a three stage intellipower power source, a voltminder to replace the power on light and a closed off fuse panel that is readily accessible. After a year, it all works fine..............Phil.

Nicely done! Nothing like a little creative re-purposing.
