How to remove battery from '03 CCD Intern'tl

I bought my 22' '03 CCD International used from a fellow airforums member, but he had never changed the battery so he doesn't know how either. The battery terminal covers (one black, one red) don't budge when I try to move them, and embossed in the plastic it says 'do not remove'. There are wing nuts on screws coming up next to the terminal covers, and I loosened one, but couldn't see how that would help. Anybody know how this works?

Thanks, Stephani

Sorry, I don't know either, but I'm surprised that your Owner's Manual doesn't deal with this.

Take the wing nut off of the post completely, and gently lift the battery cable. It should come up the post and off. That is if it is the type I think it is. A picture would help a lot in this case.
