How is your Inverter installed?

I'm considering installing a 600W Pure Sine Inverter in my 22' CCD to run small appliances while we're Boondocking. It has to be hard wired so, I'm curious how some of you have installed yours. Can I run off one of the 3 spare 20 Amp DC circuits available to me on the DC fuse block?

Here is how I connected ours to the battery. It is very important to put the inverter as close to the batteries as you can to keep the 12v cables as short as you can.

As for plugging in devices, we use a plug-in strip. I did not try to integrate the inverter into the main system as some do.

If you want to get the full 600 watts, you will need to use all three 20a circuits. Tie them together and run #6 wire to the inverter.
