Hi, new 63 overlander land yacht owner , are there two batteries on this thing?

I replaced the one in the rear compartment, but in 64, they changed to a univolt system, where is the other one located?

Welcome to the forums!

The one battery in the rear is most likely the only one in the trailer. It is impossible to know what the PO (Previous Owner) may have done, but one battery was the norm for that era.

Richard is right on. I also highly doubt there is a second battery unless somebody fabricated a place for it. Hopefully you replaced it with a deep cycle.

Mine's Ohio built, but also has a single battery under the SS galley cabinet, with an outside draw-bridge style access door.

My 66 has a rear battery, and a side battery. The door has a vent and is factory.
I did remove the tray and cables though as I don't need two.
