Are you referring to the tow vehical connector? That should be a standard round 7-pin connector like here: http://www.southwestwheel.com/store/...r-car-end.aspx

What tow vehical do you have? Is it wired with a trailer connector already, or do you need to install one?

Chris

Thanks Chris, I have a 09 GMC , yes it has a 7 pin, towing package, he just threw me for a loop, I assume it is a regular plug, but I didn't understand his airstream 12 volt connector question and could not open his attachment thanks for the reply

Yup, on a '88, it'll be a regular standard ol' plug. Unless he changed it for some odd reason. If you want to play it really safe, bring a trailer-side plug with you. If you have it with you, you won't need it.

I guess I'd recommend that you contact the seller and make sure you understand what it is you need. You never know, and there's nothing like a road trip that gets waylaid.

Or, if you want, post the attachment here and someone can likely open it and save it in a format you can read.

Oh - congrats on your new rig. Pat

be prepared

7 pin connectors come in flat and round pins. From the sound of it you still don't know what you may have. There is a Northern Freight at the corner of I-35 and Fox...south edge of Denton, a Camping World north of Denton...both have all the adaptors you will need. If your staying at a Park on Lake Ray Roberts...pick Johnson Branch. I am about 2 miles from there and have any tools or "moral support" you might need. Beautiful safe park and right on the lake.
