Goal Zero Yeti

I have a 2019 sport 16’ and am wondering if I can use a goal zero yeti to help power the fantastic fan and lights while off grid. Would this work and is it a good solution? They are on sale now at rei, and I was hoping to use this solution. Thanks in advance.

Several threads already discussing this. I personally dry camped recently with a Yeti 3000 hooked up to my shore power umbilical. I simultaneously charged it with two 180W Grape Solar solar panels. It allows you to run anything that draws less than 1500 watts. I also ran the fantastic fans, lights, fridge, and a few other things.

The REI Yeti sale is actually courtesy of Goal Zero and they have everything discounted 25%.

Thanks. I couldn’t find it in the search. So it would work/be safe to plus in using the shore power cord with home outlet (20 amp) adapter? Thanks again.

We have a goal zero that works great for aux power - so long as it is within capacity.

Goal Zero Yeti 1000 with solar panels

I have a specific question for anyone using the Yeti 1000 with solar panels.

What has been your experience when using your 20 amp shore power cable plugged into the Yeti hooked up to the solar panels? No extra wiring or equipment required.
