Furion 30A plug recall

Just for S&G I opened up the 30 A outlet that was under recall for poor connections on my 2014 23' FC. Everything looked tight and secure and no undue heat signature while running the AC off shore power. But I did notice one thing that concerned me. The #10 romex that comes out the back of the plug and turns down the outside is under constant pressure against the inside aluminum skin. In fact without putting pressure on either the inside or outside skin the outlet is about 1" larger than the space between the inside and outside skins making it a constant point of abrasion (this is with the insulation cleared from the outlet). Another piece of not so fine craftsmanship to be noted.

Could you please provide a link to the NHTSA recall you referenced in the title to your thread?
Thank you.

I'm not sure it was an NHTSA recall. For sure it was a recall from Airstream.
