After camping last weekend i noticed my shore power cord hot and the Marinco plug would not unplug. Found the plug and receptacle had melted. I ordered a new stainless Marinco shore power plug which turned out to be a nice addition. Also the right angle cord relieves the cord stress.

When i removed the receptacle i found the Hot wire to be loose in the terminal, not screwed down at all. The Neutral was the melted one, since the hot and nuetral were not balanced. I think this may be something to check every year or so. Could be fire hazard.Click image for larger version
