Electrical issue

Our 71 excella is parked for the remainder of the summer plugged in with only the refrigerator running but as I walked in the other night to look for a few items that we were missing from inside, it seems as the electricity was flickering about every three or four seconds I could hear a popping sound. Any ideas or suggestions?

Unplug it NOW. Then figure out what is loose or arching before it catches fire....

Hopefully it did not fry the converter. I assume you have insulated the cable from ground and everything should have recovered. If you are plugged in you can do without a battery.

I would be in a rather intense discussion about electrical safety and borrowing stuff without letting me know in advance....😄

This is my first post ,and my first Airstream Argosy. I'm sure to ask a stupid question but please go easy on me.

I recently purchased a 1978 Argosy 28. While going through and checking all of the systems I plugged the refrigerator in and it shorted out due to a loose wire. As a result, I lost power. No breakers were tripped, but I did find that a 20 fuse was blown. I replaced the fuse, and regained power to everything except for my 12v lights.

My initial question is, if my converter is bad should I still have lights?
Thanks for any help you may offer.
