First - we're glad to have you here. We were all newbies once.
If the television installed is original equipment, it could be a
12 volt. Look at the plug or read the info on the back to check. Many of us replaced the older televisions with HD wide screens - and it's much cheaper to get those in 120 volt versions. The lights should be
12 volt in a new unit. In some of the very old ones, there's a gas light that runs on propane. Your 2007 should have the original refrigerator which will also run on propane.
12 volt appliances like televisions will run your batteries down fast if you're boondocking. An inverter can be added, but would run your batteries into the dirt in no time.
Boondocking, you have options - a generator big enough to run EVERYTHING, one enough to provide everything but air conditioning, or a small one to recharge your batteries. We can cook, heat water and keep the unit warm with propane. You can add solar to an Airstream to recharge the batteries.
Most people re-think appliances once they become dedicated trailer people - a stove top percolater or a French press work just fine. Life without a microwave can be done. (Or that little Honda 1000 will let you cook with one.)
