Dead converter

Going through the electrical on our 1980 Caravelle 24 ft and the convertor seems to be dead. (Original unit) Any suggestions on what size to replace it with?

www.bestconverter.com ask Randy what to replace your specific converter with.

45 amps should be plenty. Pick your favorite flavor... I'm happy with the Powermax Boondockers, no one says bad things about Iotas or Progressive Dynamics. If you search Amazon, note that the lowest-price offerings of the Progressive Dynamics are sometimes the 91xx series that require the optional Charge Wizard dongle to do multi-stage charging... the 92xx series has that built in already.

Look on eBay. I bought a PD9245 a last year for around $130.00. 45 amps is plenty.
