Well to prove that we are genuine contrarians, while everyone else is downsizing we traded our 93 21'
sovereign for a 98 35 Cutter pusher. We have most of the manuals but not all. The Cutter has the optional
1500 Trace inverter and solar charger. The first time we parked the Cutter we went back in a couple of days and all of the batteries were dead. Coach and house, they all appear to be very new batteries. There is a knife switch on the engine batteries, that tells me that there has been a problem before and that the last owner installed that to prevent discharging the engine batteries. I did not have the knife switch open. I believe that the battery isolator should prevent the engine batteries from discharging, if I am right there must be a problem with the isolator or it is not wired correctly. As for the 4 house batteries, there is a switch on the trace isolator in the storage bay, a switch on the side of the kitchen cabinet for the trace as well as a battery disconnect switch by the passengers seat. Can anybody tell me the proper way to use these three switches?
Thanks
Mike
