Convertor / Charger replaced.

Just swapped out the original Triad-Utrad TU-750-6 for a new 4 stage unit. The original unit had a red and black #6 gage for + and - and an additional #14 gage black wire to the 12 volt fuse block.
Does anyone know what load the black #14 gage powers?
All the interor circuits seem to be working, yet I have not connected this #14 gage circuit.

I just did this in my classic 310 motorhome. It sounds like the original wiring is similar to your trailer. The separate black 14 gauge wire goes to your control panel "ac power on" light. Nothing else. I guess there is some way to modify the wiring to make this continue to power up that little light bulb but i was told on the forum here that most folks just abandon it all together. If you care to, pop a night light in the closest ac outlet and it will do essentially the same thing. It just tells you that you now have ac power.
