converter wire qauge

I have a new Intel 45 amp converter and I need to buy wire for the positive and negative to connect to my old univolt fuse panel. What size guage wire do I buy?

Brian,
Use 4 or 6 gauge. The thicker, the better. It is also best to "tin" the ends with solder before terminating them at the converter or elsewhere.
