converter replacement

Hi:
I have an Airstream Excella 1993 25'.

I would like to replace the old comverter with a solid state mulit-stage

one, so I do not need to turn on and off the off-on switch guessing when

the batteries are charged.

Any name brand models and numbers, or experence come to mind anyone?
