Converter noisy

When the converter is noisy like there was fan coming out like a air, what is the problem? Is it something with the fuse?

If you are asking if the cooling fan should be running when the converter is under load, the answer is yes.

The fan will come on to help cool the converter when it is working. Some fans/converters are noisier than others. But it is normal.

Just replaced mine due to it being very noisy when the overhead lights were on and it really squealed when more load was added to it. I called Best and ordered a replacement. Did the swap-out myself and now, not a peep out of it. Also enhanced the battery monitoring for the AGM's to keep from over charging them. Good luck.

Thanks

I will check with Randy at Best. The fan I have in my inverter is darn noisy. Granted, it only comes on when it needs cooling, but it would be nice to have something quiet. Thanks again.
