Converter help '75 Overlander

Can someone please help me? If my trailer has a converter, where would it be. I have yet to see anything that resembles a converter. I have no idea where to even look for it at this point and for all i know there isn't one. If there isn't one, any recommendations for what I should put in? we are just getting started with our rehab project. we plan to work as we are using it so getting it functional is the priority right now over beautification. Thank you for the help, I'm new and I am totally lost!!

Find your battery, or where your battery should be. Will probably be an outside compartment at or below floor level. The converter will be very close to this, possibly hidden under the false bottom of a closet or under cabinetry.

If it is original, then it will look like a blue box about the size of a loaf of bread. These were called Univolts, and they are notorious for boiling batteries. Call Randy at Bestconverter.com for a recommendation.

On our ' 76 Ambassador with the kitchen on the curb side ( made in California) the battery door is just behind the main door. The convertor is under the kitchen counter right inside the main door. There is a sliding panel in the end support of the counter top for access to the fuses. You may need to remove either drawers or the stove to get to the convertor. The stove is held in by 4 screws which can be accessed after the top plate surrounding the burners is removed.
