Converter/charger for AGM batteries

I have lots of experience with three stage converter/chargers, especially the Progressive Dynamics ones. But all my experience is with flooded cell batteries, not AGM's.

A question for those in the know (Lewster especially). Does the PD three stage converter/charger play well with AGM batteries? I understand of course it does not have battery temp compensation, but are the charge voltage ranges correct? How about the boost voltage applied every 20 hours? Will it hurt the AGM batteries?

With the many factory single stage Paralax units being combined with the factory solar systems which have AGM batteries, I know this is a real issue in many new rigs. What I don't know is what replacement converter/charger will do the job best and why.

I know that Magnum has a full inverter/charger which is AGM compatible but it is very expensive and not everyone wants or needs a large inverter for their trailer.

I look forward to specific suggestions and reasons.

I asked that question to Randy at Best Converter about my PD4655 and he said AGMs work well with this model of charger.

Looking at the Lifeline manual the charging rates for their AGMs are

Charging Phase 2 Volt Battery 6 Volt Battery 12 Volt Battery Bulk/Absorb 2.37v - 2.40v 7.10v - 7.20v 14.2v - 14.4v
Float 2.20v - 2.23v 6.60v - 6.70v 13.20v - 13.40v

The PD 4655 seems to fall within these ranges for 12v
