Connecting Battery Switch

I wish to install a switch to conserve my battery when not in use. I thought it would be a relatively easy thing to do but upon further investigation I have discovered that I have two leads coming off the battery and feeding into the trailer.

On which lead do I install the switch? On the curb side which uses #6 size wire or on the drivers side which is #4 sized wire?

Thanks!

Here's what I did.
First, you should have two batteries. But that really doesn't complicate the wiring other than they are paralleled.
One set of wires that enter the battery box are for the converter.
The other set of wires is for the inverter.
I purchased a marine battery switch with Off/batt 1 /batt2 /Both.
I used the BLACK negative leads to the switch because they are longer and won't require a splice.
I sent the negative for the converter to "Batt 1" and the neg of the inverter to "Batt 2". (Seriously, I have never used the inverter yet, so I usually just switch on Batt 1).
Then the "Output" goes to the negative battery terminal.
You'll need a switch, some tools to install ring terminals, and a short piece of Black battery cable (I went with AWG 2 since it's a compromise of flexibility and capacity.)
All the red positive leads go to the battery + (Including the black jack lead with the yellow ring terminal).

Here's some links to my install. I'm rather proud of it.

P.S.
In my opinion, you should replace your battery with two group 24 from someplace like Interstate Battery. Get the ones with both a post and a stud.
Adding a terminal under the stud bolt is asking for corrosion problems.

Why would he want to replace his BB lithium battery with flooded lead acid?

Thanks. I'll have to read and digest the steps you took when I get a bit more time. Does the lead to the inverter leave the battery box on the drivers side and is the charger/converter lead on the curb side?

This is what I put on my negative post. It works for both the post and stud cables.

Here is a picture of it installed on my Airstream.
