circuit breaker for 12v stays off
I have a 2006 Safari 25', I bought it in Nov. of 08, the power to the 12v outlets will not go on. The batteries may be cooked, there was a sulfer smell for a few days then no 12v. The info from the unit says it has WF-600T series inverter, which I can't find, and Magne Tec 7300 power converter. The Magne Tec is under the curb side twin bed with all the fuses, where is the WF-600T series inverter? If I replace the batteries will this fix the problem

The inverter is for the TV and one outlet by the TV.It is located behind the panel TV is mounted on. Is your converter working? Even if the batteries are bad,the unit should have 12v when the trailer is plugged into shore power if the convertor is working.

Disconnect the batteries, and then try the inverter.
If the inverter breaker stays in, then the batteries are history.

12V outlets? What are you plugging into 12V?
If you cooked a battery, eg, shorted a cell or two, the MagneTec may have automatically shut down. Modern converters sense an overload and turn off their output until the problem is corrected. So Andy's recommendation is a good first step. Your converter may still OK.
Your inverter doesn't have anything to do with providing 12V, it just uses it to make 110V. So if your 12V is dead, then you won't have any 110V at the outlets serviced by the inverter (unless there is a shore power relay--don't know the modern Airstream circuits).

Ok Ok Ill say it welcome to the airforums you have found the correct place for the correct answers. As said disconnect the batteries and see if the the 12 volt systems still work if not check fuses (not sure if converter has fuse but check there first) Check circuit breaker to the outlets to and make sure converter is getting power just do the regular trace to find problem I would say..

thanks to all
Ok, everything works as it should. I took the batteries to NAPA and they were toast, bought two 24 series AGM's for $79.00 ea. and we are ready for the road.
Thanks to all for the help
