Can I say THANK YOU again?
Thanks to so many of you who gave great advice and enabled me to figure out a simple issue that I normally would have had a professional handle (unnecessarily). I will be checking the wiring to the steps tomorrow to see if something is loose. They were working perfectly before we drove her home, so I'm sure it's a simple thing.
We are finishing up preparations for our first overnight. While all three batteries are newer, we are replacing the engine battery because we figure for under 100$, it would be nice to have that peace of mind and it is not holding the charge as it should.
This week, we will go about three hours from our home to get seatbelts installed and have the vehicle looked over and inspected and maybe have the window seals replaced, steps repaired if necessary, then it's onto Holland State Park on Lake Michigan. The first night we're actually camping in the RV service center lot so we can be there first thing in the morning for our service. I hope they have a nice waiting room.
The following week, we'll head down to Ohio to the mothership for the new front seats that have integrated shoulder belts. Anything I should have them look at while we're there?
So, for now, things are smooth. We're personalizing, re-packing and trying to get to know her.
If and when we have more electrical issues, I'll always start here first.
