battery voltage readings?

Have a 2016 FC28W.
Twin 12v interstate group 24 batteries .
When the battery monitor reads 13.6 0r whatever, is this one battery??
I don't see how that can be the same on both.

Your batteries are connected in parallel so the voltage will be the same.

As the are wired in parallel you will not see the differences between the two. You would have to disconnect them to see ther individual voltages. As long as they are identical and installed new together you are usually ok unless one gets a shorted cell....

13.6VDC is the output of your converter, not the actual battery voltage. To get the actual battery voltage, disconnect from shore power (or place the use/store/ switch in the 'store' position and let the batteries rest for a few hours. Then take a reading at the batteries with a volt meter.
