battery question

Hi, this is my first popsting i hope i'm in the right place. I have a 1988 Agosy squarestream 33'. The batteries are dead, my question is should I replace the 2x 12v with 2x 6v?

I wouldn't.....others would.

Remember if one 12v dies you still have 12v.

I replaced our two grp27 Interstates with 100ah Lifeline AGM's, werks well for me....other folks not so much.
