Battery overcharge?

Ok, so I have had my 08 sport plugged into the wall outlet for a couple months. I guess I forgot to turn my battery switch inside the trailer off. Is my battery ruined? Did it overcharge? Thanks! BC

Check to see how much water is in it. If it didn't boil dry, it may still be OK. Also, disconnect the shore power plug and turn on all of the 12 volt stuff in the trailer. If everything works, you are probably fine.

Even if the water level is low, I'd try adding some water (do not add acid!) and charging it for a day or two. Then, try the quick test above.

If you do need to add water make sure to get distilled water from the store to avoid adding minerals found in most tap water.
