Battery minder

I have two group 24s on 2015 FC28. What's the best Battery Minder to purchase?

I like the Trimetric. The link will get you to bestconverters.com. Call Randy with questions -- he's a forum member here and is very helpful. (I'm just a happy customer).

After having my dad (mr electrical) provide me advice, I purchased a Promariner 6 for my two 24 batteries and used it until I moved into a storage with no electric. The 6 is enough to maintain and it takes something like 48 hours to charge them up if parallel setup is used. I purchased the single lead model and it shuts off and on and does just fine. They are also waterproof. The company he worked for used Battery Minder initially for their generator setups and had consistent failures. They went with these and have zero issues.

Rod,

Thank's for that link....looks like a nice unit. Been looking for one for the boat.

Single batt...looks like this one will work fine

Back to the OP's original question, the BatteryMinder 12248 is the most adjustable and has temperature compensation. It can be set for a 2,4 or 8 amp charge and liquid, gel or AGM type batteries.

I have several and they work perfectly!
