Battery in a 58 ?

Going thought my new to me 58 Traveler. Battery looks like a po install. Not to clean..... Did it come stock with one? Also has a 12 volt water pump. I do believe orginal was air presure I'm I correct ?

The actual use of a water pump came somewhere around the mid 60's I believe. Sounds like a PO install. Can you post pix?

Thanks for the reply Brad, it'll be hard to post pic as I won't be home for a few days. I'd say it was a po install also.

My '57 FC had no onboard 12V system. I rewired it with an Intellipower and battery with fuse panel under the curbside dinette. The orig. wiring had you thethered to the tow vehicle with minimal lighting or 110V shore power.
The p.o. had added a battery box to the hitch area mostly to run a water pump.

Your installation sounds just like mine as I was without any 112 volt as well, not counting the two small ceiling lights that were powered from the tow vehicle. Same location and same charger. Great minds...
